Adventuretech Showcases Ceramic 3D Printing at National Metamaterials Conference

From November 24–27, 2019, Adventuretech was honored to participate in the First National Mechanical Metamaterials Conference held in Xi’an, China. The event was co-hosted by:

  • Chinese Society for Materials Research (Metamaterials Branch)
  • Chinese Physical Society (Dielectric Physics Committee)
  • Chinese Institute of Electronics (Component Branch)

It was also supported by top universities, including Xi’an Jiaotong University, Air Force Engineering University, Northwestern Polytechnical University, and Xi’an University of Electronic Science and Technology.

Featured Presentation: THz Ceramic 3D Printing

Zhu Pengfei, General Manager of Adventuretech, presented a technical report titled:
“Fine Direct Writing 3D Printing Technology for Medium-Based THz Superstructure Materials.”

This report demonstrated how ceramic 3D printing, particularly through fine direct writing, enables the fabrication of precise microstructured materials ideal for terahertz metamaterial research.

Expert Recognition at the Booth

During the conference, several distinguished guests visited the Adventuretech exhibition area:

  • Prof. Xu Zhuo, Chair of the Conference
  • Academician Zhou Ji, Director of the Academic Committee
  • Academician Chen Liquan

They highly praised the company’s fine direct writing ceramic 3D printer for its technical precision and innovation in metamaterial fabrication.

Why Ceramic 3D Printing Matters in Metamaterials

Ceramic materials, especially silicon-based and oxide ceramics, are highly valued in metamaterials research for their:

  • High thermal stability
  • Excellent dielectric performance
  • Mechanical strength and microstructural tunability

Adventuretech’s fine direct writing technology offers micron-level printing resolution and high material compatibility, enabling the production of:

  • THz superstructure materials
  • Mechanical metamaterials with complex lattice geometries
  • Custom dielectric structures for electronics and photonics

Building the Future of Metamaterials

Adventuretech remains committed to pushing the boundaries of ceramic additive manufacturing. Our participation in the 2019 Xi’an Conference reflects our deep collaboration with research institutions and continued innovation in metamaterial applications.
